Who Are We?
We are Kevin and Melina and we are avid travelers who have decided to pack up our home and travel the world. We want this travel blog to help others and inspire others to travel the world. However, we are just starting our journey. We are trying to determine exactly what our content will be and when it will be posted. So join in on the ride and learn and explore the world with us on this new adventure!
Meet Melina
I (the person who will do most of the writing) am Melina. I come from an international family, having traveled throughout Europe, Latin America, and the United States. My experiences living in Honduras and Italy have given me insight into the pieces of culture that people may be missing when simply traveling through a location. I have always strived to immerse myself in every experience and absorb the culture that surrounds me. I have a background in experience strategy (understanding how people experience space). When combined with my travel knowledge, I hope to produce digestible content for every person.
I began my career as an interior designer. I then pivoted into a space strategy role, becoming an expert in solving for the human experience. My goal is to help every individual travel the world as global citizens. Travel should be beneficial for every person.
Meet Kevin
Kevin was the first in his immediate family to travel overseas when he studied abroad in Madrid, Spain. It was a life changing experience that broadened his cultural knowledge, culinary tastes, and friendships beyond his midwestern neighborhood. He strives to always continue to expand his perspectives and enjoy life through traveling. Kevin has a background in the hospitality industry, leading corporate strategy at the largest family restaurant group in the U.S. His goal is to help organizations and people achieve results that were previously unknown as possibilities. (And he sure has done that for me! Without him, this dream would have remained in my heart and would never have come to fruition!)
While most of this blog is written by Melina, Kevin will have his own section. It will have weekly articles from his viewpoint during our travels called Kevin’s Corner.

Now what is this blog about? We want this travel blog to give you the knowledge and power to help you make the most of every travel adventure. (Because if you come from the US like us, we know that that vacation time is precious).
A glimpse into how we plan our travel
We typically create outlines of our ideal plans that make sure we hit the things that are the most important or intriguing while allowing for flexibility and spontaneity to immerse ourselves in the culture along the way. We understand how to travel within a budget (I also know how to blow a budget) and make the most of every dollar spent based on our own interests.
This blog will hopefully be a collection of stories from our travels, resources that we use to plan and tips to execute travel. It will include explanations on how to use these resources and guides to help you at a destination. We want this to be a travel blog that helps you travel!
Finally, travel can be an exchange of ideas and culture. We have found inspiration through understanding the different cultures that we have experienced. We hope to capture the best ways for any traveler to also feel that inspirational immersion.
